Weekly Listing of Nonprofit Blogs and Articles

There’s been a lot of press this past week about the 40 billionaires who accepted Warren Buffet’s Giving Challenge. While I agree that it is an amazing and wonderful thing, I also hope that ‘normal’ donors (like you and me) don’t think that we can sit back and give less. It remains essential for all of us to give as we are able to support those causes that we are passionate about. Along those same lines, we need to be approaching others and asking them to support us (or encouraging them to support other causes that they are passionate about) at the levels they are able to give at. I’m a big believer that giving is a blessing (as much for the giver as the receiver). So, go and give! (and ask).

Here’s a summary of this week’s articles and blogs related to fundraising and nonprofit organizations. As always, please feel free to forward this to others you know who might benefit from it. Thanks again for reading!
