Weekly Fundraising Headlines and Blogs

Are you REALLY using your donor database? Is it just a place to store giving history? Or are you using it as a tool for determining your fund raising plans (and what to remove from your fund raising plan)? Do you know who gave some year but not this year? What other ways are your donors engaged in the organization? The majority of organizations will renew just 50% of donors who gave last year. People who volunteer with an organization are significantly more likely to make a financial gift as well. Dig in to your data this week – and please let me know what you find!

Here’s a summary of this week’s articles and blogs related to fund raising and nonprofit organizations. As always, please feel free to forward this to others you know who might benefit from it. Thanks again for reading!
