Feb 2015: Leadership and Delegation Workshop

  • ideas iStock_000012210065XSmallFeeling like you’re carrying the full weight of the future of your organization?
  • Tired of no one stepping in to help?
  • Ready to identify the root of the problem and help you start moving forward again?

If so, you’re in the right place!

It may be difficult to admit, but sometimes the person working the hardest (and usually doing it well), is often the one with the problem. Many leaders dream big, fight an ever-changing environment and work long hours. They accept the heavy burdens of ownership, including the obligation to lead by example. Yet a table with one leg is difficult to balance.

In this workshop, developed for ministry leaders, you’ll learn a mix of secular and Biblical concepts and strategies to help your organization move into the next phase of growth.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify 6 barriers to productive delegation
  • Develop strategies you can immediately implement to help you share the load with others
  • Become a better leader by becoming a better delegator
  • Learn four communication styles to help you better understand your team
  • Build understanding of how people learn, and how you can help your team learn
  • Identify barriers to organizational change

While this workshop is open to any nonprofit leader, information will be presented from a Christian worldview.

Date: Friday February 27, 9 – 12:30am ET, lunch and discussion time included
Location: American Printing House for the Blind, 1839 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206
