Oct 10 Workshop: Psychology, Auctions, Appeals and Successful Fundraising!

vectorstock_2141221 smDo you ever get the feeling that you’re not connecting with the person you’re speaking to? That something is just a little off?

Here’s a tip that might surprise you: not everyone thinks the same way you do.

This is true with donors, with board members, and yes, with auction attendees as well!

Join Murray McCandless and Kirsten Bullock as we explore the psychological make-up of your attendees, the four communication styles you’ll come across and how best to interact with each of them.

Here are just a few things you’ll learn when you attend this workshop:

  • the four types of event attendees (and how to ensure each is given an avenue by which they can support your cause);
  • which kind of meal (buffet, plated or heavy hors d’oeuvres) may cost you thousands in lost revenue;
  • optimal ratios of silent auction packages to attendees;
  • the four primary communication styles you’ll encounter;
  • the potential negative impact of not recognizing the differences;
  • and much more at this exciting and fun filled interactive learning experience!

Details:

  • When: October 10, 9am – 11am
  • Where: American Printing House for the Blind, 1839 Frankfort Avenue, corner of Frankfort and State
  • Speakers: Kirsten Bullock and Murray McCandless
