Kirsten’s Fundraising Headlines – July 5, 2011

I hope you had a great 4th of July! Rob got back in town Sunday just in time for our neighbor’s barbeque. We have a few new people in the neighborhood, so the cookout was partly for the 4th and partly to celebrate the newcomers. They did the same thing for Rob and I when we moved in. Such a great tradition!

Just a quick reminder, my Major Gifts Seminar is coming up in Orlando on July 21st. Thursday is the last day for the special early-bird rate of $50. If you’re in Orlando (or want an excuse to visit Orlando), be sure to sign up. If we haven’t met already, I really hope to get a chance to meet you soon! And if you need a speaker for your event, I’d love to talk with you about it.

Here’s a summary of recent articles and blogs related to fundraising and nonprofit organizations. As always, please forward this to others who might benefit from the information. Thanks again for reading!
